Today St Michael’s School in Saddlebow Road, South Lynn, holds a healthy-living drop-in session and workshop, in conjunction with Nar Sure Start Children’s Centre in Church Lane.
The idea is to give families pointers about how to live a healthier lifestyle through diet or exercise.
Families of the school pupils have been invited along in the afternoon.
Attending will be a dental nurse, a health trainer from Norfolk and Waveney Health Trainers, a children’s centre’s healthy-eating champion to make some sugar swap snacks and a representative from the Matthew project.
There is also vegetable printing, healthy plate designing and a challenge for families to search out some hidden letters from around the room then work out what they spell, with six winners receiving a week’s free pass at all Alive! venues.
