Crowds at Hilgay near Downham gathered to see the opening of a new bridge over the bank holiday.
The bridge, to be named the Jubilee Bridge, will pay tribute to the Queen on her 70th year on the throne.
A boat passed underneath, adorned with balloons, to mark the occasion, as people cheered.
People were seen on the boat dressed in Captain Jack Sparrow attire after the Depp vs Heard case was concluded last week.
The bridge was unveiled by Hilgay parish councillor Norman Higham, who has taken part in vital war memorial restoration work.
