The King’s Lynn Golf Club Senior’s Open attracted players from all over East Anglia and all enjoyed very pleasant weather for their games.

The highlight of the day was a hole in one scored by Chris Gwinnett Sharp of Bury St Edmunds.

After their meal the Seniors’ organiser, Richard Kerkham, announced the prize winners and club captain, David Lawman, presented the prizes.

The winners were - Nearest the pin: on the 5th Harry Bailey, Brampton, 12th Wayne Wallace, Spalding, 16th Chris Gwinnett Sharp, Bury St Edmonds and 2nd shot to the 18th Alf Massey, Ely.

Overall winner: Michael Helliwell, Stowmarket 39pts.
