Holkham is named the ‘best large employer’ in region by Best Employers

The team at a stately home and estate are celebrating after it was named the Best Large Employer in the eastern region at an awards ceremony.

Holkham received the accolade at the Best Employers Awards, where it also obtained a Platinum Accreditation following the results of its 2023 staff survey.

Both announcements were made at the awards conference held at Newmarket Racecourse on October 19.

The Best Large Employer award recognises a large business’s commitment to creating a diverse, inclusive and sustainable workforce and culture.

Alex Triplow, head of HR at Holkham Estate, said: “The Holkham team are thrilled to have achieved the highest accolades possible from ‘Best Employers – Eastern Region’ with not only a Platinum Accreditation but also winning Best Large Employer in the region.

“The judges called Holkham ‘an innovative and people-centric organisation’. This is a team award and we’re looking forward to celebrating together.”
