The Best Large Employer award recognises a large business’s commitment to creating a diverse, inclusive and sustainable workforce and culture.

Alex Triplow, head of HR at Holkham Estate, said: “The Holkham team are thrilled to have achieved the highest accolades possible from ‘Best Employers – Eastern Region’ with not only a Platinum Accreditation but also winning Best Large Employer in the region.

“The judges called Holkham ‘an innovative and people-centric organisation’. This is a team award and we’re looking forward to celebrating together.”

A spokesperson for the estate said: “For many years Holkham has focused on creating a positive and happy workplace environment where staff feel valued and respected.

“The estate recognises that people perform best when they understand how their roles contribute to the business's wider vision.

“Having clear ambitions and a shared focus encourages employees to thrive, grow and continually improve.

“This ethos is summarised in one of five of the estate’s ambitions: ‘We want Holkham to be a great place to work, where talent is developed, teams set their own high standards and the human touch is never lost’."
