A man has admitted stalking and outraging public decency following an incident in Fakenham earlier this week.

Paul Matthews, 36, of Park Road, Holkham, was arrested on Tuesday after police were alerted to reports of a man acting suspiciously in a car in the Holt Road and Claypit Lane areas of the town.

He then pleaded guilty to charges of stalking, committing an act outraging public decency and possessing a bladed article in public when he appeared before Norwich magistrates yesterday.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Norwich Crown Court for sentencing on a date yet to be fixed.
