Holme bazaar boosts church cause
Holme-next-the-Sea's annual village bazaar was buzzing with visitors from the moment the event opened in the village hall and the nearby St Mary's church on Monday.
"We hold two a near - the other in November - and this one normally makes around £600 for the church," said organiser Mary Holland.
Stalls selling pottery, items made out of driftwood, jewellery, organic health and beauty products, knitwear and a wide range of second hand books filled the hall.
In the church there was a table top sale and across from the hall plants could be bought.
Among a wide range of refreshments spent-out customers could then relax with a cup of tea and a home-made cake.
The next village event is an annual open gardens on July 1 followed by the village fete on August 11.
