Hotel guests and their jaw-dropping supercars create spectacle
A stunning yellow Lamborghini Aventador SVJ just three weeks old was a headturner at a supercars event in Burnham Market.
It was just one of 26 fantastic models at boutique hotel The Hoste in Burnham Market for an annual two-day event, which started on Thursday.
Each year owners bring along their pride and joy and stay at the hotel. General manager Greg Hacon says there's always some fun between them.
"We never know what's going to come as our guests like to keep it to themselves," he said. "Some of them come with a different car each year. I think they enjoy a bit of rivalry!"
Other highlights included a Ferrari, an Aston Martin Vantage with just 600 miles on the clock and Aston Martin's chief engineering manager brought along a demonstrator of a model not officially released yet.
The event is a big pull for spectators with some people still keen to view the models well after dark. Owners go on arranged excursions during their stay - this year to Norfolk Lavender at Heacham and Pensthorpe Natural Park - and on Friday a crowd of about 100 people had assembled to see them off at 11.30am.
Mr Hacon said: "There's always a lot of interest from the public in the run-up to the event. People were here until 9.30pm on Thursday and crowds were forming again at 7am.
"The owners have always been relaxed about it all and gladly let people have photos and sit in the cars. It's a fantastic event for everyone."
