Pupils from Howard Junior School in Gaywood have been so inspired by British astronaut Tim Peake that they have held many space events in class, including a fantastic Tim Peake assembly and showed off their amazing knowledge of space to the school and parents

Kevin Fong, a famous astronomer and scientist who presented the Cosmic Classroom from Earth and interacted with Tim Peake at the International Space Station, contacted the school via Twitter personally to praise the work of the school and its pupils.

Pictured above is Year 3 pupil Lilly-Grace Archer, 7, made her own giant space rocket inspired by Tim Peake.

It took her days to make the rocket on her own initiative, putting Tim’s name on it.

Lilly-Grace said: “I love space and I want to be like Tim Peake one day.”
