More than £250 raised at Christmas carol service at Mintlyn Crematorium in Bawsey for Hillington-based Tapping House hospice
Many attended a popular Christmas carol service which raised money for a hospice which provides end-of-life care.
The annual service returned to Mintlyn Crematorium on Tuesday where almost £250 was raised for the Hillington-based Tapping House as well as West Norfolk mayor Paul Bland’s two chosen charities.
The crematorium introduced this family-friendly carol service in 2018 and it has raised hundreds of pounds for charity.
Guests were invited to make a voluntary donation for a special message tag to place on the Christmas Tree of Memories.
The service was led by Father Adrian Ling and civil celebrant Verne Lee.
Music was provided by resident Mintlyn organist Jonathan Chaddock with Singers Inspired, a community choir from Downham.
