Hundreds turned out for a fun-filled day at the Watlington village fete last Saturday.

Visitors flocked to the village green to get involved in the annual festivities.

A range of stalls were on show, including crafts from nearby businesses and a classic Punch and Judy tent.

More than 50 vintage cars were also on display around Glebe Field, including a 1960s police car and a 1940s Wolseley 14/60.

Attendees were hoping for an RAF flypast with some Hawker Hurricane aircrafts and a Spitfire. Disappointingly for visitors, it had to be cancelled because of high crosswinds in the area.

The Watlington Players, the village’s amateur dramatics group, brought a troupe of singers along to the event - and the Young Players gave attendees a sneak peek at their upcoming show, The Little Mermaid.

Performers from the School of Dance also gave a dazzling performance.
