Hunstanton holidays-for-dogs business owner recognised for exceptional financial achievement
The owner of the North West Norfolk branch of dog accommodation business Barking Mad has been recognised for achieving exceptional financial growth.
Tania Stowe, of Hunstanton, received her award for above average year-on-year financial growth at Barking Mad Dog Care's 16th national conference last weekend.
The franchised service, which provides bespoke holidays for dogs whilst their owners are away, celebrated at the Low Wood Bay Resort in the Lake District, where the North West Norfolk branch’s achievements were acknowledged.
The event led by managing director, Lee Dancy, was a thank you for all the hard work from the dog care providers across the UK and marked 19 years of continued success.
Lee said: “We were delighted to recognise Tania’s proactive and professional approach in running her business. It is a testament to her dedication and hard work, that Barking Mad North West Norfolk has shown such growth.
"Tania’s love of dogs and people has always shone through as she has grown her business. She has also built a thriving community of dog sitting host families, improving and enriching the lives of local people with dog companionship.”
Tania said: “The Barking Mad concept has proven to be a great success across the UK and I am just delighted to be offering our fantastic service to the dog owners of Norfolk.
"Our service is five-star rated and is provided by a wonderfully dedicated team of local dog lovers who get so much enjoyment from caring for our customers' dogs.
"I am very proud of achieving year on year growth of 33 per cent, especially given the current economic uncertainty in the UK. It goes to show that consumers put great value in a quality service.”
The Barking Mad concept is centred on accommodating dogs in a caring environment, ensuring their routine is kept as consistent as possible with a loving, local host family.
