The owners of the award-winning Norfolk Deli in Hunstanton have come up with an idea which identifies one of their products with the resort. Mark and Rosie Kacary, have renamed one of their sandwiches “Hunstanton Cliffs”. Its clearly defined layers of hummus, carrot and avocado represent the sand at the cliffs’ base, the rich red of the cliff face and the green grass above. Mr Kacary said: “Apart from anything else, it was a sandwich which people would experimentally try, rather in the way some people would visit Hunstanton, and then come back and buy another one because they enjoyed it so much, which is why people come back time and time again to the town.”
The store has introduced other new sandwiches, including a Chelsea-by-Sea, which contains lumpfish caviar along with smoked salmon and cream cheese, and has just launched a new online ordering service which can be found at www.norfolk-deli.co.uk/takeaway-menu.
