Station officer stalwart Robert Frost, of the Hunstanton Coastguard rescue team, celebrated 20 years of service with HM Coastguard last week.

He was presented with a 20-year service medal by the HMCG divisional commander, area commander and north norfolk sector manager at a small ceremony at the Hunstanton headquarters.

The evening was also attended by the Hunstanton mayor, councillor Andrew Murray, and all members of the Hunstanton coastguard team along with their partners.

As with all coastguard rescue officers, Mr Frost is a volunteer, running a local business as his main occupation.

During his service, Mr Frost has shown a great dedication and commitment to serving his community.

This would not have been possible without great support and sacrifices from his wife and family.
