Dogs from far and wide descended on Glebe House School on Saturday 12th May to take part in the annual Hunstanton Fun Dog Show, organised by The Barking Bugle.

Hosted by Glebe House School the eighth show included a fastest recall competition, flyball, musical sits, dachshund racing and a full programme of classes for dogs of all sizes and ages plus the popular fancy dress and family of dogs classes.

Main Judge Vicky Wright, who travelled from Kent for the occasion, said: “It was a lovely day and all the dogs were superb but I would have liked to take them all home.”

Other classes were judged by Amanda Knight of the Barking Bugle and the Deputy Mayor of Hunstanton, Amanda Bosworth.

Amanda Knight said: “It has been a really good day despite the late afternoon rain, one little King Charles Cavalier called Josh Smith from Birmingham has been attending the show for the past 8 years and is now the grand age of 16; to celebrate Josh received a presentation of treats and pawsecco, courtesy of the Barking Bugle.”

“Best in Show went to Steve and Hayley and Reserve Best in Show to Margot and Danielle but as we always say, whatever the outcome you always go home with the best dog there in any case!”
