Years of accumulated dirt on the cross on Hunstanton’s Green has been removed by local company East Coast Restorations, run by Cliff Allman and Jon Compton.
Pictured by the memorial with Jon and Cliff just after the job was completed, Town Clerk Lisa Powell said: “I watched the cleaning process and was really impressed. The cross on the Green is a much-loved landmark and this makeover has really made a huge difference to the overall appearance of the area.”
The unique eco-friendly cleaning system works on a high heat, low-pressure water system, eliminating damage to fragile surfaces.
East Coast restorations are able to clean almost all surfaces from industrial and domestic cladding, stonework and brick from the largest building, to the smallest deck or patio. Parent company Thone Restoration has been operating in London for over 10 years and as had great success in restoring the facades of many West End theatres, listed buildings and galleries.
