Only a week left to nominate for King's Lynn Mayor's Business Awards
If you haven’t put forward your firm or colleague for the 2022 Mayor’s Business Awards yet, then you need to be quick.
There is now just one week left to submit nominations for the glittering ceremony at Lynn’s Corn Exchange in March.
And if there is one area where a business can really be judged, it’s by how it serves the people who come through its doors.
The Customer Care award recognises the organisation, irrespective of size or sector, that proves the customer really does come first.
Firms need to demonstrate commercial success and strategies for growth whilst achieving excellence in looking after customers. They must also have objectives for high quality customer service and clear methods of monitoring and evaluating standards.
If you know someone who always goes the extra mile for their customers, or their colleagues, then why not put them forward for the Employee of the Year award, sponsored by Mars.
The judges will be looking for an outstanding contribution not only to the organisation and its success, but also to colleagues’ welfare and enhancing the working environment and customer experience.
And if your boss is the tops, then maybe you should nominate them for Businessperson of the Year, sponsored by Brown & Co.
After a year away because of the pandemic, the black-tie evening is booked for Friday, March 4, at the Alive Corn Exchange in Lynn’s Tuesday Market Place.
The awards are organised by West Norfolk Council, in association with the Lynn News.
Categories carrying awards for 2022 are Small Business of the Year (sponsored by Mapus-Smith Lemmon LLP), Business Person of the Year (Brown & Co), Business Innovation (Metcalfe Copeman & Pettefar solicitors), Apprentice/Trainee of the Year, Customer Care, Independent Retailer (The Bank House), Leisure & Tourism (Complete Commercial Finance), Employee of the Year (MARS), Environmental Champions and King’s Lynn Champion (sponsored by Discover King’s Lynn).
And, of course, there is the top accolade, the Mayor’s Business Award, sponsored by West Norfolk Council itself.
