'I have been calling her every day', says owner as cat goes missing in South Lynn

A pet cat, which has an amputated leg, has gone missing in the South Lynn area.

Named Leia, the cat went missing from Winfarthing Avenue on Sunday, July 12.

Its owner Jo Bob said: "I have put out posters, letterboxed dropped flyers, [used] social media and the vets and have been out calling for her every day since and I don't know what else to do!"

The owner added on Saturday: "Please check your garages, sheds any outbuildings for Leia. She is very distinctive with a missing right front leg and amputated tail, she has a band of colour around her belly, she has been missing now for nearly two weeks and was last seen last Monday hopping underneath a parked car on Bunnett Avenue.

"I am desperate for her to be back and am offering a reward."

A poster says the cat is usually friendly, but is "probably very scared at the moment".
