Ice lolly for the hotter otter in Hunstanton
It is hot, hot, hot out there in case you hadn't noticed!
Temperatures in this neck of the wood are going to reach 32C which is in the 90s in old money.
Lynn was expected to get up to 32C this afternoon while on the coast a stronger sea breeze keeps the temperature down to a mere 30.
Hunstanton while not packed had a steady stream of visitors. But not everybody was delighted with the sun.
At the Sea Life Centre the sea otters were kept cool with their traditional ice lollies while penguins took advantage of a parasol to stay in shade.
On the beach Lucy Witton enjoyed an ice cream to keep cool, quite possibly sold to them by Fred and Pauline Denham in their seafront kiosk, who were happy to be enjoying the early summer sunshine.
But enjoy the sunshine while you can and soak up those rays. Rain is forecast for tomorrow (sorry folks!). That makes it a hot spell rather than a heatwave. There needs to be three days of high temperatures to qualify as a heatwave.
