Bathco bathroom specialist with King's Lynn base looks to continue its success story with further expansion
An independent bathroom specialist business founded 18 years ago has just seen its most successful year to date and is now looking to expand further.
Bathco started with one showroom and four staff and now has three showrooms in Lynn, Dereham and Thetford and 15 employees.
The firm was founded in January 2002 by managing director Stuart Gardner as bathroom suppliers to both retail and trade and remains privately owned with a strong family feel.
In recent years Bathco, whose Lynn base is in Denney Road, Hardwick Industrial Estate, has gone from strength to strength, seeing a specific need for fully fitted bathrooms and installations which are totally project-managed from supply to fit.
This now forms 70 per cent of Bathco’s turnover.
Its general manager Stuart Marsden said: "2019 was our most successful year to date so things look very promising. We have even bigger targets and are looking to recruit more staff in 2020.
"We pride ourselves on our service at Bathco. We have a very strong culture and creating the ultimate customer experience is at the very top of our agenda.
"Our showrooms have over 100 real room set displays to help customers create their dream bathroom. We offer a free home design service and can create a 3D virtual design, pricing a new bathroom within an hour. This includes all installation and material costs. No one else offers this."
The company’s mission has the acronym BATHCO – Brand Accredited,Totally Honest and Customer Orientated.
Over the18 years of trading the company has developed its own product range brands for the UK and created e:thos, Carino, Modello and Hydrowall as branded and trademarked product ranges.
