Lincolnshire Police investigate robbery at Sutton Bridge Co-op
A man believed to be carrying a knife robbed a Sutton Bridge store.
Police have launched an investigation after the man demanded cash from staff at the Co-op in Bridge Road just before 10pm on Monday.
Officers say a sum of cash, along with cigarettes, were stolen from the premises but no-one was injured during the incident.
A Lincolnshire Co-op statement issued to the yesterday said that staff had been left shaken by the incident.
This incident has happened days after another Sutton Bridge shop, City Stores, was robbed. Police have not said if they are linking the two incidents.
Police are appealing for information into the Co-op robbery.
A spokesman said: "If you witnessed anything suspicious in the area, please get in touch."
