LEARN MOREPopular Portuguese chicken chain Nando's announced that it would be closing some it's stores due to staff shortages and a disruption to the supply chain.
C-luckily, Nando's in Lynn is still open.
Staff at the branch did not comment on the supply issue but said the closures "were only in London".
After a list was released on the Nando's website the disruption has affected restaurants in Cardiff, Manchester, Leicester, Swindon, Kent, Sussex as well as London.
Nando's have said in a statement:“The UK food industry has been experiencing disruption across its supply chain in recent weeks due to staff shortages and a number of our restaurants have been impacted.
"However, since Monday, a team of our brilliant Nandocas have been supporting our key suppliers onsite – working in partnership to help get things moving again, and this has already had a positive impact on affected restaurants.
"From this Saturday, as a result of the hard work behind the scenes, it is our intention that all of our restaurants will be open again, and all our customers can enjoy their favourite PERi-PERi chicken.”
Nando's don't have a date for when things will return to normal with some stores staying closed until August 30.
Nando's isn't the only fast-food joint affected by shortages.
Last week KFC announced that some items wouldn't be available on the menu.
