It's a dog's day at Docking church fundraiser
The dogs were the stars during a popular fundraising event held at a West Norfolk parish church at the weekend.
The St Mary’s Church in Docking hosts a dog day every two years, attracting dozens of four-legged friends and their owners.
This year’s event, which took place on Saturday afternoon, features seven classes including Best Veteran, Dogs aged up to seven, Best Rescue Dog, Waggiest Tail, Prettiest Girl, and Most Handsome Boy, plus a new category for tricks.
There was also a range of canine-themed activities and games inside the church, including a treasure hunt and quiz, plus facepainting, a barbecue and a raffle.
Organisers say they expect the event to have raised around £550 for church funds.
Officials are currently looking into the possibility of installing toilet facilities at the site and the proceeds of the event are likely to be put towards that project.
