A nice day for a Gothic wedding by new business based in Dersingham
A new business offering something a little different has been set up by Jessica Jack based in Dersingham.
Dark Broomsticks provides furniture, favours, balloons and themed items to make a wedding, well, a little bit spooky.
With a diploma in wedding planning, Jessica aims to deliver gothic-themed weddings, hen parties, even baby showers with a gothic twist.
She said:" It's a new thing I've decided to do as it is something you don't see much. I recycle furniture and provide black chairs for a gothic themed event.
"I have a floor level table with gothic pillows that can be used any time of year and not just at Halloween."
Jessica intends to work with other local small business to provide food and at the moment she would be able to provide consultation for an event with up to 30 guests.
She said:" People can hire furnishings from me and I also provide the set up. For example I have a gothic themed trolley and jars for sweets and snacks. I design stickers that can be added to candles to create the gothic theme."
For anyone who fancies a witchy afternoon tea, Jessica provides the props and set ups which includes themed cake stands, a floor table, cushions, and a witch brew tea set.
She said: "It is always something I have wanted to do using dark colours and weird looking stuff is becoming more popular so I am just going to go for it and see how it goes.
"There is nothing like that for people if they wanted a scary themed wedding."
Also available to hire is the Dino dig and pirate treasure dig for children parties for little ones to find magical treasure and fossils.
