LEARN MOREThe neighbour of a murdered man and father of two has spoken to the media after two men were arrested in Downham last night on suspicion of murder.
He called the incident a "shock" for the normally quiet area.
A man in his 30s was pronounced dead after a head injury yesterday after forensics, police and helicopters were spotted in the town.
The neighbour said: "I saw the police cars screaming onto the street last night and just going straight through the front door.
"I don't think anyone would have thought it's a fatality.It just goes to show that this sort of thing sadly, can happen anywhere."
Two men are currently being held in connection with the death of a third man at a house in Bulrush Avenue, Downham last night.
And another man was arrested after a young woman died following an incident in Leete Way, West Winch. Police have stressed the deaths are not connected.
