Jail warning for Lynn man accused of not complying with court order

A Lynn man has been warned he could be jailed if it's proven that he has failed to comply with a court order.

Charlie Liam Greetham was handed a sentence of 14 weeks suspended for 18 months in September 2019.

The 21-year-old, of Loke Road, was back at Lynn Magistrates' Court on Thursday to plead guilty to possession of cannabis on August 2.

The bench said it would not be just to activate the suspended sentence for that offence, particularly given the length of time the order has run so far.

However, Greetham, who denies failing to report as required, was told that he could be imprisoned if the matter is proven on November 18. He was granted unconditional bail to the next hearing.

For the drug matter in Loke Road, he was fined £80 and ordered to pay £105 costs and £34 victim surcharge.
