Hunstanton Town Hall is holding a jobs fair on Monday, May 9, aimed at workers wanting jobs in tourism, catering and retail industries.

Many businesses are facing severe staff shortages and hope that this event will help address and tackle the issue, with the Princess Theatre among those raising concerns.

The event is being held from 10am-2pm, aiming to help those who are unemployed or seeking a new avenue of employment.

Wanting to show that the hospitality sector is a career of choice to parents, schools and colleges, the event was organised by Hunstanton Town Council in partnership with employer advisers from the department of work and pensions, Kings Lynn Jobcentre and Brian Hallard, from the Princess Theatre

Businesses are being asked to join the jobs fair in order to promote their vacancies, with long-term employment opportunities and training and development available.

If you are interested, and are a local business owner, please contact the town clerk on 01485 532402 or by email clerk@hunstantontowncouncil.gov.uk.

One-to-one advice will be provided for any attenders looking to explore employment and to ensure they are ‘job-ready’.
