Junction of Gayton Road in Pentney to be closed for one night for resurfacing
Work is due to commence next week to resurface the junction of Gayton Road to A47 at Pentney.
The work on the B1153 will see the old, damaged road surface removed and a brand-new surface laid.
It will be carried out between 7pm on Wednesday, May 31 night until 6am on Thursday, June 1.
The work which will cost £30,000 will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Community and Environmental Services Department and their contractors.
The work is expected to take 1 night to complete, weather permitting.
In order to safely complete the improvements, Gayton Road will be closed to through traffic at the junction for the first 50 metres until work is complete.
Vehicle access to residential properties and Norfolk Woods Resort & Spa will be accessible at all times via a diversion route.
The county council thanks people for their patience while this surfacing improvement work is carried out.
