Just Essentials King's Lynn offering discounts to those who need a wig for medical reasons such as cancer or alopecia

A popular beauty store in Lynn is celebrating Halloween with a spooky event.

Just Essentials has been one of the go-to shops in town for make-up, body piercing and beauty products for years.

However, this year the beauty pit-stop is showing that it's not just a pretty face.

The store is offering 20 per cent off of all wigs to those who need them for medical reasons such as alopecia, cancer and psoriasis.

Manager Perdi Gauntley said: "We found a lot of younger people didn't find the NHS wigs fashionable so when they have the choice it makes them feel more confident and on trend.

"A lot of people don't know we do this service so it would be great to inform them about it.

"We just need them to fill out a form when they come."

The shop offers a selection of high quality wigs- some synthetic and others are made of real human hair.

They come in a variety of styles and colours; from bold reds to subtle ombrè.

Staff have also been showing off their most creative SFX make-up designs on the lead up to Halloween.

They sell a variety of cosmetic staples for creating that perfect look on the night, such as; Snazzaroo face paints, skull shaped stargazer lipstick, liquid latex and coloured hairspray.

An event will take place on the Saturday before Halloween, where all the staff will dress up in costume.

Ms Gauntley said: "That's our big event, we always do it the Saturday before Halloween and the girls have a great time."
