Keeping it in the family at South Creake pub and restaurant The Ostrich Inn

The great granddaughter of the former owner of The Ostrich Inn in South Creake has been appointed assistant manager of the pub.

Hannah Pease's great grandparents James and Daisy Pease owned the pub and restaurant in the 1940s and 1950s, with generations of the family living in the village over the years.

The pub had stood empty for many months before being extensively refurbished in 2021.

It now offers food from local suppliers, wood-fired pizzas and stays in the sumptuous bedrooms.
