Months of hard work have finally come to fruition as Lynn’s Arts Centre Trust has now been accredited to provide young people with voluntary placements abroad.

For almost three years, Lynn’s Arts Centre has been involved in European projects, but now, the organisation has been accredited as a European Voluntary Service Organisation. This campaign was spearheaded by assistant director Elise Prosniewski, who is originally from Amiens in France, and has been working at the Arts Centre for over a year.

She first participated as an intern, but stayed on and has become an integral part of the Arts Centre team.

She said: “Taking part in an EVS is a real experience of lifetime and I recommend it to anyone who is ready for an enriching adventure. It is a way to learn about another country, culture and way of life but also about you. KLACT is delighted to offer this opportunity to young people.”
