The latest in a string of improvements to Lynn’s Majestic Cinema is set to take place next week, one screen will be closed over Wednesday and Thursday while new seats are installed.

Manager Tom Cundy said: “Next week we will be closing Screen 3 so we can install something that everyone has wanted for a long time – brand new seats! Believe us they are super comfy and a new wall-to-wall screen is next on the agenda.”

The team’s main focus this year has been on improving screen three, and work has already begun with the introduction of two air conditioning units. Now plans to introduce brand new stadium tiered seating will finally become a reality, as will the new, larger screen.

Future plans for updating the cinema also include replacing all of the carpets in the building and introducing a Majestic Loyalty card. Behind the kiosk, nachos will be on offer and the team have already donned their new uniforms to replace the waistcoats.

Mr Cundy said: “There are other plans in place which I can’t go into now but I’m sure you can see that we are committed to make The Majestic Cinema the best place to come and enjoy movies. Oh, and £4 for tickets is here to stay don’t worry!”
