A coach is being run from the Tuesday Market Place in Lynn on Sunday to take people to a day of celebration of the work of charities and voluntary organisations in Norfolk being held at Norwich Cathedral.
Many thousands of people give their time as volunteers working with people of all ages and with many different needs and as a result of their work countless lives are changed and enriched.
The plan for the day is (from 11am) to have displays about charities and their work all around the cloisters of the Cathedral; refreshments will be available, entertainment provided and people are invited to bring picnics.
The Cathedral will have its usual sung eucharist at 10.30am, which people are welcome to attend and at 3.30pm there will be a special service for volunteers during which we will hear the
stories of people whose lives have been changed by volunteering.
A coach has been arranged to collect visitors from Tuesday Market Place, Lynn at noon. The coach will set down/pick up at Whitefriars, Norwich and be in the same position at 4.50pm, ready to depart at 5pm.
Coach seats must be booked in advance by noon on Friday at the latest.

Richard Jewson, the Lord Lieutenant of Norfolk, who is helping to arrange the vent, said: “Whether you are an individual who volunteers or you are a charitable organisation or group we hope that you will want to share with others what you do and join with people across this region to celebrate the many good-news stories there are to tell.”
