A Lynn garage has given its backing to organisers of the town’s annual Festival Too music spectacular.

A fundraising golf day is to be held at Middleton Golf Club on May 11 towards preparations for this year’s concerts.

And, ahead of that, Thurlow Nunn Vauxhall have been unveiled as a major new supporter and sponsor of the festival.

The dealership is supplying a number of prizes for the golf day, including a Vauxhall Corsa Sting for a hole-in-one.

Regional director Simon Grylls said: “I am delighted that our company is able to sponsor this event, and support the fantastic work that the Festival Too team do each year in order to put on this free festival for the people of West Norfolk.”

Festival Too has also been boosted by a further £1,000 of sponsorship from minerals firm Sibelco.

And organisers are also appealing for volunteer stewards to come forward ahead of this year’s shows.

The events will take place on June 25, July 1, 2, 3, 8 and 9. Refreshments and training are provided.
