The Asda Foundation Grand East Anglia Run (GEAR) next month has sold out with four weeks to go before the tape goes up!
A total of 2,500 runners from across East Anglia have snapped up the places for the event on Sunday, April 30.
But as media partners of the 10k run, we have nine places to give away for lucky readers who fancy a go.
You can join reporter Rebekah Chilvers on the day as the runners make their way through the centre of Lynn.
Just email us here on firstname.lastname@example.org (subject line ‘GEAR entry’). Make sure you send it from an email that we can reach you back on.
GEAR is being organised for the first time by not-for-profit company Run For All, working in partnership with Alive Leisure and and West Norfolk Council.
Lynne Preston, event manager of Run For All, said: “Places in GEAR were popular from the moment we opened entries, so it’s no surprise that all spots have now been snapped up.
“Well done to all those who secured their places – we’ll see you soon!”
The only other way to enter the event is now through charity places.
These good causes include: the Jane Tomlinson Appeal, Macmillan Cancer Support, Norfolk Accident Rescue Service, Pandora Project, PTSD Resolution, Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund, Run For Charity, Wellbeing of Women and West Norfolk Mind.
Anyone wanting to secure one of those should contact the charity concerned directly.
Entries are still open for the Bespak Mini Gear - a 1.2-mile fun run for people of all ages and abilities (entrants must be six and over) from Tuesday Market Place just before the 10K.
Every finisher will receive a Mini GEAR medal and a goody bag to show off their achievements.
