A Lynn gym hosted a charity spinathon at the Tesco’s store on Hardwick to raise money for Rudham Ward at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital
Heros Gym held the 24-hour event which saw more than 250 people get on spin bikes for periods of time.
A community effort raised £4, 802.75, but it is hoped the final figure will top £6,000.
Gym manager Kate Austin: “It went better than what we ever imagined. We didn’t anticipate that kind of response. There was such a good atmosphere and buzz throughout.
“We kept 21 bikes going for the majority of the 24 hours and so many people got involved.” mlnf16mf02045
