A Lynn man has caused £150 worth of damage to an electric gate.
Christopher Hewit, 42, admitted damaging the gate in Boudicca Court in Littleport Street, Lynn, on January 7.
Prosecutor Paul Brown told Lynn magistrates during a hearing earlier today (Thursday, March 4) that Hewitt felt cold and pushed open the gate.
Mitigating, Roger Glazebrook said Hewitt, of Boudicca Court, felt the gate had got stuck and pushed it.
Hewitt was ordered to pay £150 compensation.
He was also ordered to pay £50 towards the prosecution costs.
