King’s Lynn man stole meat to pay for gas and electricity

A man stole meat from a Lynn supermarket after someone else stole from him, a court heard.

Frankie Baxter, 27, of Pleasant Court, Lynn, pleaded guilty to theft during a hearing on Thursday.

The court heard he stole meat products, worth £24, from the Tesco Express store on Wootton Road, Lynn, om the afternoon of June 28.

Mitigating solicitor Ian Graham said his client sold the products on in order to pay for gas and electricity.

Baxter was given a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £24 compensation and a £150 criminal courts charge.
