West Norfolk museum staff have been working on a project with Google.
Staff from the internet giant have been taking high resolution photographs of some of the paintings in Lynn Museum’s collections.
Oil and water colour paintings have been photographed and will be featuring in the Google Art Project.
Google staff were in the Market Street museum for seven days taking a series of images of the paintings which will be combined to create a single high resolution image.
Pieces by Henry and Thomas Baines are part of this project, which is not available yet.
Curator Oliver Bone said: “We have worked with Google to offer people the chance to see some of the paintings in our collection in extra high detail.
“There is a chance for people to zoom into the paintings and get a sense of the artist’s technique and see the fine detail.”
