As Lynn’s Christmas pantomime continues at the Corn Exchange, its villain has been persuaded to do at least one good turn for the town.

Shaun Williamson, who plays the Sheriff of Nottingham in The Adventures of Robin Hood, pulled out the winning entry in a prize draw promoting the Bespak Grand East Anglia Run (GEAR).

Early entrants in the 10k race, which will take place around Lynn on May 1, were entered into a draw for a place in the London Marathon. The prize was won by Charles Jones, of Lynn.

The Adventures of Robin Hood runs until Sunday, January 3.
