A team of Lynn-based fundraisers has completed its Channel swim challenge in aid of a charity which supports youngsters with cerebral palsy.

The Wetnosers swimming team, made up of Rob Howlett, Steven Riches, Max Cumming, Alex Housden, Matthew Evans and Miles Thomas, pictured above, took on the challenge to raise funds for PACE.

As previously reported, the charity has been supporting Mr Thomas’ daughter, Issy, who has the condition, for the past couple of years.

The team completed the 21 mile course from Dover to Calais in just under 13 hours, swimming hour-long legs at a time.

So far, they have raised more than £1,500 for the charity and wish to thank everyone who has supported them.
