This year’s theme for Mental Health Awareness Week which runs from Monday celebrates the importance of ‘Relationships’.
Two local charities The Bridge for Heroes and West Norfolk Mind, who both support people with their mental health, decided to strengthen their own relationship by working in partnership to organise an awareness and fundraising celebration event in the Vancouver Quarter (called Building Bridges) on Tuesday, 10am-2pm.
It will feature acoustic entertainment, tombola and information stalls.
Zena Penty, volunteer co-ordinator for West Norfolk Mind said “It has been fantastic working with the Bridge for Heroes and we have also identified a number of ways our organisations can be supportive of each other in the future.
“We hope to meet lots of our supporters and general shoppers on the day.”
