Tomorrow’s (Wednesday) scheduled National League Knockout Cup home meeting between the King’s Lynn Stebbings Car Superstore Young Stars and the Buxton Hitmen has been called off.

Monday night saw a host of the world best riders compete in the Monster Energy FIM Speedway World Cup event at the Adrian Flux Arena. The event, which is one of the largest the Arena hosts in its busy calendar, has taken longer than anticipated to return the stadium to normal.

At present the stadium is not ready to stage the Young Stars meeting which has left the promotion with no other option but to postpone the meeting this coming Wednesday.

Lynn chief Buster Chapman said: “I don’t like having to postpone meetings, whether it be for Elite League or National League, but this time, we are unable to avoid it.

“The stadium will not be ready, so we have to move the fixture to another date which will be announced soon. We are very sorry to the supporters who were looking forward to the meeting.”

The Young Stars are back in action next Wednesday, June 17, when rivals Mildenhall make the trip to the Adrian Flux Arena.
