King's Lynn accident involving four vehicles on the A47




There were no serious injuries as emergency services were called to a road traffic collision involving four vehicles on the A47 at Lynn last night.

Police were called to the Saddlebow slipway around 6.10pm to reports of an accident involving a Mini Cooper, Vauxhall Mariva and two Mercedes.

The accident occurred on the Norwich bound carriageway and the road was blocked until 7.40pm.

A spokeswoman for Norfolk Police said there were no major injuries and everyone involved was "absolutely fine".

She added that two vehicles initially collided but a further two cars were subsequently involved.

The ambulance service arrived at 6.20pm having been called at 6.15pm while recovery were on the scene at 6.35pm.

King's Lynn Police posted on social media yesterday evening asking people to "pass slowly and carefully" whilst they awaited recovery.
