King's Lynn bargain store to close

The B&M store situated by the bus station in Old Market Street, Lynn, has been temporarily closed as one of 49 across the country shut by the bargain retailer in reaction to the coronavirus outbreak.

B&M Bargains has 656 stores across the UK, including another one at Hansa Road on Hardwick Retail Park in Lynn which is remaining open.

Staff in the ones closing will see up to 80 per cent of their wages covered by the Government's Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme.

The announcement comes days after Poundland and QD also announced their stores in Lynn were to close.
