A Lynn resident has been ordered to sign the sex offenders’ register following an offence in Lithuania four years ago.

Arunas Gilys, 25, served a 16-month prison sentence for sexual activity with a child under 16, town magistrates heard yesterday.

Police brought an application before the Lynn court for Gilys to now be subject to notification requirements in the UK for ten years from the conviction date of October 24, 2018.
