LEARN MOREA Lynn resident has been ordered to sign the sex offenders’ register following an offence in Lithuania four years ago.
Arunas Gilys, 25, served a 16-month prison sentence for sexual activity with a child under 16, town magistrates heard yesterday.
Police brought an application before the Lynn court for Gilys to now be subject to notification requirements in the UK for ten years from the conviction date of October 24, 2018.
Gilys told the bench: “I do not object to anything.”
The bench granted the application and told Gilys, of Archdale Street, to visit a police station to begin the process within three days of the hearing.
