LEARN MOREA Fairstead man will stand trial accused of assaulting two police officers.
Alan Brown, 37, has denied the offences said to have happened in Winston Churchill Drive on February 24.
He has pleaded not guilty to a further charge of resisting the two officers, PC Polom and PC Battelley.
Brown appeared before Lynn Magistrates’ Court on Thursday and pleaded guilty to two counts of drug possession on the same occasion – one of class A cocaine and the other of class B cannabis.
The bench accepted jurisdiction of the denied matters and Brown elected for trial in the magistrates’ court.
It was scheduled for May 31 and Brown, of Telford Close, was granted unconditional bail.
