King's Lynn man remanded in custody on drug charge after '£30k heroin haul' find




A South Lynn man has appeared in court accused of possessing a class A drug with intent to supply.

David Harrison, 53, of Bunnett Avenue, was charged following a police operation in Lynn yesterday and appeared before magistrates in Norwich today.

He was remanded in custody to appear before Norwich Crown Court on June 19.

Earlier, Norfolk Police said officers from Operation Moonshot West, along with the Lynn Local and Neighbourhood Policing teams, were conducting an action day around the town yesterday when they stopped a silver Audi.

Following a search of the vehicle, officers seized a small quantity of heroin and cash.

As a result of further enquiries, officers searched an address in The Monograms, in Gedney, Lincolnshire, and seized a large quantity of heroin, a large quantity of cash and mobile phones.

Officers believe the amount of heroin seized is worth approximately £30,000.
