LEARN MOREKing’s Lynn Music Society is privileged to welcome distinguished soprano Joan Rodgers CBE and pianist Rebecca Cohen to King’s Lynn Town Hall on Wednesday (May 22) at 7.30pm for an evening of Russian, German and English song.
Their programme is planned to include music by Robert Schumann, Clara Schumann, Shostakovitch, Medtner and Rubenstein.
Internationally-renowned Joan Rodgers is equally established in opera, concert, and as a recitalist having performed extensively and was awarded the CBE for services to opera.
Welsh pianist Rebecca Cohen specialises in vocal accompaniment and chamber music.
She is a staff accompanist at the Guildhall School and Morley College and is a piano teacher and ensemble coach at Junior Trinity Laban.
Visitors are always welcome, on this date doors open at 6.30pm for tea/coffee with an annual for members at 7pm; admission is free for under 18s, full time students and those with Federation of Recorded Music Societies affiliation.
