King's Lynn Rotarians turn showground Purple for Polio

One of a leading charity group’s most senior national figures has helped Rotarians from Lynn promote the fight against polio.

For many years, the Rotary movement has run a Purple for Polio campaign, which sees purple crocuses planted to raise awareness of the fight to eradicate the condition for good.

Members of Lynn’s Priory Rotary club promoted the cause at the recent Sandringham Flower Show, where they were joined by Dennis Spiller, a former vice-president of Rotary International for Great Britain and Ireland.
