King's Lynn school's tribute to pupil Reece




The school attended by the teenager who died in an incident in South Lynn on Sunday morning today issued a statement about his death.

Reece Hornibrook, who was 17, sustained serious head injuries and died in Lynn's Queen Elizabeth Hospital yesterday.

The statement from King Edward VII Academy in Lynn said: "Reece attended King Edward VII Academy for two years, completing his GCSEs last Summer.

"He was well thought of by staff and students alike.

We are all obviously shocked and saddened by this tragic news. Our thoughts and condolences are with his family during this difficult time."

Liam Russell, 31, of Metcalf Avenue, has been remanded in custody following a hearing before magistrates in Norwich this afternoon.

He is charged with assault occasioning grievous bodily harm in connection with the incident. He was remanded in custody to appear before Norwich Crown Court on August 7.
